Downtown Boston BID will be hosting the Boston Fashion Week initiative that provides a platform to fashion designers at every stage of their careers, including student fashion designers. Open Runway is an open-air fashion show on The Steps in Downtown Crossing which takes place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 12 noon.*
Using the same premise as an open mic night for singers and comedians, Open Runway provides an opportunity for local fashion designers to show their creations to the public. There is no charge to participate as a designer, but a pre-registration is required.
Join Jay Calderin, the Founder and Executive Director of Boston Fashion Week, and a host panel of industry leaders as they celebrate a diverse collection of unique designs and bold statements created right here in the Greater Boston area.
The event is FREE and open to the public.
