The Fall Fashion Season
It’s time to start thinking about how you want to express your style this fall.
The Boston fall fashion season runs from September through November.
Boston Fashion Week dedicates the fall fashion season to
Yolanda
After local legend Yolanda Cellucci passed away at age 91, social media feeds and the news have been flooded with personal and professional stories about the impact this entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, and television host had on our community.
Yolanda has been part of the Boston Fashion Week story since its inception thirty-two years ago. While we mourn the loss of such a glamorous fashion icon, we are also grateful for the many years of kindness, generosity, joy, and sartorial flair she brought to every interaction.
From humble beginnings to being the definition of a glamorous, self-made success, her influence cannot be overstated. She was a role model and mentor to many, encouraging several generations of fashion talent to keep striving toward their dreams.
"Don't let anyone discourage you" — Yolanda

Reminiscent of style icon Iris Apfel's New York Times bestseller Accidental Icon and echoing Andre Leon Talley’s The Chiffon Trenches, comes the entertaining and thoughtful long-awaited memoir from the irrepressible, groundbreaking fashion powerhouse Audrey Smaltz.
There has never been, nor will there ever be, anyone like Audrey Smaltz. Towering six feet tall (her superpower) since she was a teenager in Harlem, she has always stood out from the crowd.
Smaltz details her colorful journey as a groundbreaking model, Wall Street broker, department store dynamo, fashion coordinator, commentator, editor, and entrepreneur. Her creative vision and business acumen earned her the support of legendary designers and brands, including Giorgio Armani, Jason Wu, Donna Karan, Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Stephen Burrows, and Vera Wang.
Reflecting on significant people and moments in her life, Smaltz reveals how she managed to balance life, racism, and the obstacles in her marriage to former WNBA and Olympic silver medalist Gail Marquis.
Forthright and contemplative, Every Inch a Lady is a long-overdue life reckoning from a cultural powerhouse and one of the most important style figures in modern times.

“I always say that you can find inspiration in everything. And if you can't, look again.”
– Sir Paul Smith
Threads: My Life in Style
From a Nottingham alleyway to a global empire, Threads is the story of a truly unique British fashion icon.
Sir Paul’s journey has been anything but conventional: from leaving school at fifteen with a dream of being a professional racing cyclist to a life-altering accident that would change everything. After meeting the love of his life and immersing himself in the exciting new world of 1960s London art and fashion, he went on to build a global fashion empire that began as a tiny shop tucked behind a dark, damp corridor in Nottingham.
For the first time, and with his signature wit, Paul shares candid memories of a life in style, including what it was like to dress legends including David Bowie, Daniel Day-Lewis and Sir Alex Ferguson; how he fought to keep his brand independent in a world of globalized homogeneity; and why, after five decades of success, you can still find him on the shop floor every Saturday meeting his customers.
Guided by his father’s advice of working hard and repairing everything by hand, Threads is more than a fashion memoir. It is a masterclass in how to stay curious, stay independent, and always look for the extraordinary in the everyday.
