happiness? Sleeping in.

Not getting to know my father better before he passed away.

love of your life? My sister and husband are my greatest loves.
When and where were you
happiest? I had a wonderful childhood in Haiti. I spent a truly wonderful and
relaxing weekend with my sister in Maine two summers again. And any trip I take
with my husband is usually hilarious, relaxing and plain fun.
What talent would you most like
to have? I would love to be a great painter/drawer.
What is your current state of
mind? Frenzied.
If you could change one thing
about yourself, what would it be? I would focus more. I’m always doing 10 things
at once. I reeaaally need to focus and do one thing at a time.
If you could change one thing
about your family, what would it be? Money baby! The family compound greatly
suffered during the earthquake in Haiti. I’d love to be able to rebuild the
houses on our property.
What do you consider your
greatest achievement? My sister and I did not like each other once. We made a
pact to dedicate ourselves to our relationship 10 years ago. We’re still working
on it.
If you were to die and come
back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be? Still thinking about
that one.

come back as, what would it be? An olive tree.

possession? My sanity.

greatest contribution to the art fashion in the past 10 years? Tough one. I
think historical circumstance (such as the major world wars and lack of
resources) has brought about invention and the rethinking of traditional
garments.
Where did you first experience
the power of fashion? When I was little and dressed in a pretty yellow dress.
All my aunties and uncles gushed and told me how nice I look. I simply remember
feeling so sassy from hearing their comments.

versus style? Style first. Fashion as is relevant or needed. Trends (and
fashions) come and go, but style never fades, no matter what the season or
