If you’re interested in providing
modeling, styling, makeup and/or hair services for shows during Boston
Fashion Week please be sure that you are subscribed to the BFW email
list.
The nature of fashion is change, so
there are bound to be changes. All
the latest information will be distributed via BFW email updates,
Facebook posts, and the official Boston Fashion Week website.
Each show/event listing will include designer/event producer contact
information. You can use this information to contact designers that
you’re interested in working with directly.
PLEASE NOTE:
All models for The Tent at Boston Fashion Week shows are provided
exclusively through BFW partner modeling agencies, Dynasty
Models, Maggie Inc., and Model Club. There are no open calls for
these shows.
PRESS / PHOTOGRAPHERS / VIDEO
Any access to each event is at the discretion of the designer/event
producer. If you’re interested in press/photography/video access please
contact designer/event producer directly. See above.
ATTENDING SHOWS
All invitation/ticket availability is at the discretion of the

VOLUNTEERS
The Tent
at Boston Fashion Week volunteers:
Anyone who has already registered as a volunteer
at one of the previous Volunteer Registration Events will be contacted by
email directly with more information.
PLEASE NOTE:
All volunteers for The Tent at Boston Fashion Week shows have
already been secured through the two Volunteer Registration events. If you weren't able to attend either of the
two Volunteer Registration events, you can send an email to
bfwvolunteer@gmail.com
expressing your interest in volunteering and we can add your name to a
back up list of potential volunteers.

If you'd like to volunteer for
other events during BFW check out the
first draft of the schedule online. Each show/event listing will include
designer/event producer contact information. You can use this
information to contact designers that you’re interested in working with
directly.
POSTING AN EVENT on the OFFICIAL BFW SCHEDULE
Boston Fashion Week has been a regional celebration of fashion and style
since 1995, and anyone who is interested and able to put together their
own show or special event is invited to do so. There is no fee to be
listed on the official schedule.
Boston Fashion Week is scheduled to take place September 23rd through
September 30th. The Tent at Boston Fashion Week is a central platform
for a series of runway shows during the week, but there will also be
shows and events scheduled throughout the region during Boston Fashion
Week.
The week is a community organizing initiative designed to afford
designers with an opportunity to attract new audiences for their work
and to provide the public with greater access to the great wealth of
local fashion talent. All events that take place during Boston Fashion
Week are independently produced by the designers and event planners
involved in those particular projects. Those designers/event planners
are solely responsible for all aspects of their events including
production, promotion, press access and model selection.
As a general rule most events are organized on the schedule in two-hour
time slots. Designers are asked to share their intent via email as early as possible so that they can be
advised of any conflicts in the schedule and make the appropriate
adjustments in their scheduling. No shows will be scheduled on the first
day of Boston Fashion Week (9/23/11).
