Prajje Jean-Baptiste presented a collection
that celebrated color in The Tent at Boston Fashion Week!
The first 'A Head Above Fashion After Party' at Forum was a great
success. Safar's Fashionably Crazy Hair Show was great fun and very
glamorous thanks to its pied piper of fashion, Omid Maxey.
Meet Bethany Van Delft. Bethany has graced
many of Boston's fashion runways as a model extraordinaire over the
years. Everyone knows she's funny, but what some who know her through
the fashion industry might not know is that she is a comedienne on the
verge of greatness, or at least a sitcom deal. She'll be sharing her
model musings all through Boston Fashion Week.

A Job is a Job
In the twilight of my
modeling career, I found myself needing to take different types of
bookings than I was accustomed to, or else, *gasp*, get a ‘real’ job.
One time my agency called to ask if I was free in an hour, and if I had
a fresh manicure. I was and I had, and I told them so. “Great.” said my
booker, “I have a ½ day for $500, if you don’t mind doing a hand job.” I
(unlike you right now) remained professional, wanting to work as much as
possible, said “Sure, I’ll do it. And I’m free tomorrow as well, and
just had my teeth cleaned, so if you need someone..." And that was the
last hand job they called me for. Party poopers.

“Having one central
location will really create an opportunity
to make this
a premiere event for the city,’’ Menino said.
“This is going to
be a truly professional event,
and our talent in
Boston deserves that.’’
